My bad. Should have said 2 years of his career.

This is what I think of your comment And NO I don't want to make whatever from home on a laptop or whatever other crap your trying sale...
I've seen plenty of other people have issue with Arum (and other promoters) and handle it much better than Mikey did. So yes, I do think Garcia wasted part of his career.

Instead, he chose to wait 2 years (losing out on a few purses) to get in the same position he could have easily been in 1.5 years ago.
How can he finish a contract that doesn't have an end date? The contract was full of extensions.

wow, 2 years of lost earnings
Same reason why last year he settled his lawsuit with chavez jr...money. Garcia or Haymon likely paid to get out the contract. Happy to see Garcia fight soon but this was a dumb move on his part that backfired in his face wasting over 2 years of his prime and countless millions in purses he lost out on from his inactivity. Should of just fought his way out his current deal made less money then he wanted but less is better then nothing. No doubt he would of been a free agent a lot sooner then he is now and would of been a richer man.

I doubt arum got any money. Garcia was always willing to buy out but TR said no, until last year but by then too much time went by. I think garcias stance was that the contract was up

I'd like to see a copy of that contract please.

And even if the tiny chance that was actually the case, maybe Garcia should have done a better job and read the contract.

HAHA I know!!! That DUMB FK doesn't know what the HELL he's talking about! It basically allowed Top Rank to EXTEND the contract indefinitely. And if he would of fought that of been evidence he was ok with it.

Who knows, we didn't really find out until later that Haymon paid a lot for Chavez.

Why Would arum release Garcia unless he got some $?

Arum also got paid well for Gamboa when 50 bought him out.

Arum isn't just going to let these guys leave.
