He's always at the gym on those ESN videos at Garcia's gym. He sparred Maidana & Rios to get them ready for their fights. He doesn't look out of shape

Of course it's wasting a career. All Mikey had to do was to finish a contract he signed (yes, I expect any person to honour contracts they sign) and could have gone to Haymon or Oscar or whoever at the end of 2014. Instead, he chose to wait 2 years (losing out on a few purses) to get in the same position he could have easily been in 1.5 years ago.

Let's hope this long layoff hasn't hurt him. Dude was on a roll before this happened. Bob thinks he's slick by shelving prime years from fighters like he just did Garcia. We shall see. Always enjoyed Mikey.

That's good to hear but I don't think he should skip the lightweight division. It might be a bad move cuz his last fight was at super featherweight.

???? He's only 28? He wasted a couple of years but not a career. The way Bob Arum does business it was probably well worth it! Bob would just of tried making him sign an extension his last fight of their contract and if he didn't. But him back in the closet then.
