That's a positive thing for the sport. I don't see why you'd be against that.
He's been trolling a boxing forum for over 7 years. Some people are just pawns in life.

      Thoughts?

IMO, Ward vs. Pascal is a waste of time. Pascal has one win (a very shaky one, at that) in his last four fights and has no business in the ring with one of the P4P best in the sport.

Kovalev continues to be a man without a home...or at least a man without a home market in which he sells tickets.

In any event, doubtful that Alvarez gives up his mandatory position to the WBC belt and a shot at the lineal title to take on Kovalev for short money, so this one is probably dead in the water.
Pascal needs a some time off to get himself together based on his last 3 fights. Besides Pascal does nothing to prepare Ward for Kovalev. I would not mind seeing Ward vs Fonfara. Why, because Fonfara is a come forward fighter. He may not have the same power as Kovalev but he will keep the pressure on Ward al night long.
I think HBO would serve itself well to reach across the line to match both of these guys against Haymon fighters for their final fights before they face each other. Of the fighters that would be available around the time Ward and Kovalev are looking to have their next fights, Haymon has the most talented available fighters IMO. We'll see what happens. Regardless of who they fight I will be tuning in.

Pointless match. Pascal has been shot since the 1st Kov fight. I was willing to five him a pass for the fight after that but in the Kov rematch he looked done. He couldn't pull the trigger and became a punching bag.

Ward v Pascal is ok as long as it happens soon and Ward v Kovalev is left for later this year.

None of this 12-18 months bull****.

Pascal isn't shot. I still favor him over most top light heavyweights.

EDIT: Still no source posted. I all bull**** on OP.

he wasn't fighting for awhile-entirely his fault

buzz was never there-his numbers have been dropping since the kessler fight. that's a sign that no one likes the product.

giving away thousands of free tickets is a positive thing for the sport? creating fake a-sides who think they are entitled is a positive thing for the sport? overpaying guys who can't draw is a positive thing for the sport? those seem like negative things to me.

if ward actually was willing to fight and not focus on pretending he's an a-side he wouldn't have wasted the last 5 years of his career. people like you have enabled him to believe that he actually is a draw and this in turn has prevented him from fighting anyone good for 5 years. please don't enable him anymore. kovalev is the only guy willing to deal with his sh-it because he has that much confidence.

Man, it's not like Alvarez is anything special either. Why is Stevenson running from him?

Ward vs. Pascal? Not interested. Kovalev has beaten everything out of Pascal. Although TBRB, ESPN, and Boxing Scene still have him in the top 10 at LHW. I'd still rather see Ward-Shabranskyy.
Shabranskyy is fighting a no-hoper super-middleweight on short notice next week. Pretty much a stay busy fight. Agreed regarding Stevenson, its either Fonfara or Alvarez (or Kovalev, but lol) otherwise Stevenson will become practically irrelevant

only from people that actually went and even boxing reporters but i guess they don't hold any weight with you? i get my info from people that cover boxing and who have actual sources. i dont just make it up like floyd fans. could i be wrong? maybe but so much evidence says i am right. also yes its a fact they gave away free tickets. people have come out and showed them/told their stories. sorry you don't like it. its also a fact that they count ticket sales to ticket brokers as tickets sold. im sorry you don't like their tricks but thats the truth. i put all this evidence into my brain and i reach the conclusion that the numbers they are giving us are not the real numbers of how many people bought tickets or how many people went. i could be wrong but based on the evidence i don't think i am.
