Comments Thread For: David Haye: I'm Ready as Soon as Anthony Joshua is Ready

DAVID HAYE reckons he will have too much for Anthony Joshua when they finally meet. Former WBA champion Haye hopes to face the 26-year-old if Joshua beats IBF champion Charles Martin at the O2 Arena on Saturday night.

Haye should target Wilder/Povetkin winner. Joshua can make £3 mil fighting the Dillian Whytes of boxing, he can milk the title and doesn't need Haye.

Fighters holding a world title or ranked higher in the ratings are fair game.

Haye is fighting guys with less pedigree than the typical Wilder and Joshua opponents in their run up to title eliminators and title shots. Awaiting an undeserved pay day, if Hearn relents and gives in to public UK pressure I'll never forgive him.

I used to be with David , he stalked Wlad madly and then didn't deliver his heavyweight credentials are poor , beaten easily by Wlad beat Ruiz who had 8 loses beat Monte Barrett who had 6 loses beat Valuev who was a joke .Apart from Wlad none of these guys were real top flight.

Yes his withdrawal twice from fighting Tyson was in my opinion was bad luck a bad cut and then shoulder surgery but all he seems he wants to do is jump in there where at this moment given his no named weak opposition he doesn't belong.

I nearly bought a ticket for the unnamed opponent and now unpronounceable opponent , so glad I didn't.

David needs to prove much more in the ring and there are a lot of guys out there to do just that but I seems like the trend of one or two guys from the uk they think their name alone equals the big prize.

I loathe Haye. Total fake in every way. Remember when he was hyped for beating up Fraudley?

sure he could but if he loses his value goes down & he may have to take less when a Fury or Haye fight happens. Joshua is in a situation that not many fighters find themselves in. A PPV a star after 16 pro fights without a B opponent on his resume. His window to make cash out money is now. He needs to get past Martin first. If he does that he should fight haye or fury at wembley or a large venue. Fury might not win the klitschko rematch so Haye looks like the best option financially unless he could get Fury as champion. If joshua were to lose to Martin nobody knows what kind of affect it will have on him. He could lose a few fights after as He has never stepped up so who knows if he will ever get those big PPV fights after. It only takes 1 punch in HW boxing to change a guys career...

Dood ****ed the Furys around not once but twice. Arrogantly didn't bother telling them he was"cut" saying he won't give Fury a payday. Now he's the biggest kiss ass in boxing

I remember a certain few claiming Haye would beat the robot Klitschko and this was all during the time Wlad was in his peak not the Wlad of the last 2-3 years. Truly pathetic fan base, I think a lot of them are Fury fans now even though they'd be claiming he'd have decapitated Fury.

Brits are by far the most peculiar boxing fans.
