Brits are by far the most peculiar boxing fans.
Well they were the best heavyweights, both champions and at the time they were both fighting uninspiring heavyweights.

Stranger things happened than if Haye beat Klitschko. It was the biggest heavyweight fight in 10 years for a reason.

Klitschko just had the perfect game plan.

Talking himself back into a title shot all the while fighting tomato cans. Ahh this guy. He and Briggs are perfect for each other.

I don't like this idea... Joshua is too green, Haye is very very dangerous

Povetkin was better than Haye and always has been IMO. The moment Haye had not to face Chagaev due to his hepatitis and Povrtkin was ordered for Hsye the Brit was in a rush all of a sudden to unify. Haye knew Povetkin would would him and he knew himself he wasn't the 3rd best heavyweight around at the time let alone the 2nd. In fact Chambers and Adamek would have done no need to even see him lose versus Chagaev and Povetkin.

Haye never had the heart to face the best because he knew as he knows now he is not good enough to mix it with the divisions best, he even got lucky versus the C level Valuev.

Totally agree with you. But my dislike for haye is worse... Guys fightint totally unknown no hopers, and just trying to talk himself into a title shot!!! Please please NOBODY GIVE HIM A TITLE SHOT! The guys a complete fraud all about money, he fooled the public in making the audley fight, fooled everyone that hes gonna actually do something and take chances against wlad... And now hes trying it again! Too scared to actually fight someone with a pulse incase he loses... Doubt he would even give briggs a shot! Hope he gets ktfo by this no hoper!

I don't believe for a second that Haye was ever scared or worried about Povetkin. At all. I do believe he had absolutely no interest in fighting him, but not because he was worried. It had nothing to do with heart or whatever, he just had tunnel vision on a Klitschko fight. That was what everyone wanted and from the end of the Audley Harrison fight until April or May when it was formally announced, that was all that was on everyone's mind.

I don't believe your last paragraph either. Haye just wanted to make as much money as possible. Remember the thing about retiring before 30? He said that when he was 22. Way before Klitschko and all that.

I don't recall any retiring before 31 talk until he was ordered to face Chgaev or Povetkin, convenient.

You're hung up on Haye, great, he was a top fighter, unfortunately he had no heart or care in the world for his fan base. You were used, it's guy like you he won't be able to believe his luck he has following and shouting for him at fights and on forums.

                  Believe what you will.

Haye is scared of Fury facing Joshua earlier than him. His plan (of getting a big payday) could be wiped.

He is calling out Joshua every week, it's really tiresome. He could face somebody else between the top 10-30.... but I don't see it happenning.
