Mikey was just on Paulie M's podcast the other day & really broke down his lawsuit like I haven't heard him break it down before. Apparently he talked with several lawyers & a couple high profile sports lawyers & they all told him his contract was up. Cameron Dunkin told him his contract was up. Top Rank said it wasn't, but wouldn't say why it wasn't up. They didn't really go over the part about why it took so long to settle everything doe so who knows. It does seem like time & a athletes limited career opportunities aren't taken into account in these sorta situations either.

And if we voting I'm still saying Mikey will start his own promotional company that he'll piggyback it on whoever he signs a shorter term deal with if he does sign with them while he grows it.

he and robert have even said basically that if they knew it would cost him 30 months of his career, had he known from the beginning he wouldn't have done it. But once he was a year in he was at the point of no return.

That being said there is no point to sign with Floyd. If he was going to sign with Floyd might as well have stayed with TR or go to RNS or GBP. Maybe he signs with Haymon. First we need to see how much desire to fight he really has

He's probably full of regrets now.

He's already getting an average of $750K when he left Arum fighting guys someone already beat. Or guys not in the level of Thurman, Garcia, LSC, etc. Porter got $1 million for fighting Thurman. That's the biggest amount he can get for such a risky fight. Don't tell me Mikey will get that kind of amount with Haymon fighting nobodies.

He doesn't really seem like it to me. If he's anything like his dad or Robert he's an old school man who makes a decision & thats that.

We don't operate in a world where hindsight means much about a past decision. Hindsight is only valuable when it comes to future decisions & I'm sure Mikey has learned a lot from this situation that will ultimately benefit him more than if he hadn't gone thru it. We all only got one life to live & standing by your principles is never something anyone should regret.

Mikey lost a lot of $ and time off his career to sign with Haymon.

As far as I'm concerned Haymon owes him HUGE for that. Somehow or another Haymon is going be throwing an obscene amount of money at Mikey.

It's been well documented Mikey doesn't even like boxing, if Mikey can line up easy fights for the next for years at an obscene price tag, you know damn well Mikey is going to do that, and Would love to.

Mikey doesn't care about legacy, so Haymon is perfect for him.
