No, Abel Sanchez has attacked Ward to protect his coward from him. This proves Ward has fans.

I don't know why GGG bandwagons hurting themselves and their idol. GGG didn't make 1 million viewers in fights like Geale, Murray, etc.

Ward had not made a single fight last 3 year, but he drew more than 1 million viewers from the fight against obscure guy like Sullivan Barrera. That's not good for team GGG because they avoided Ward with excuses like 'Ward isn't a draw.' 'Ward fight doesn't make financial sense'.

          smh...these bandwagons are thoughtless.

Ward's last fight was on BET not HBO so you really can't count that, for a fair assessment of his drawing power his last HBO fight did 1.2mil viewers against Edwin Rodriguez in 2013 and 1.3mil the fight before against Chad Dawson. His ratings are very much in line with what GGG is avg on HBO.

This place lol, I don't like Ward but these are pretty good ratings for the caliber of opponent he was fighting and the fact that he has been out of HBO for a while. Boring fight though.

Avg but Not very good #, Thought it'd be higher

HBOs boxing rating seem to be trending downward

For Ward this was another comeback fight and his first fight at 175... And it draws LESS than Monroe Jr.. LOL.
Golovkin is a lot better known in the States now than he was when he fought Munroe.

It will be interesting to see if that is reflected in the viewing figures for his next fight.

That's the problem Ward will always have. He just isn't a crowd pleaser and never will be.

That's not because he's a boxer rather than a slugger or power a puncher. Some boxers can be very entertaining to watch. Ward isn't.
