Other then Floyd who is bigger right now then canelo? Manny is debatable right now. We'll see how his PPV does but most insiders are predicting that Canelo will do more PPVs his next fight then Manny will. So unless Floyd comes out of retirement Canelo is cash cow of the sport. And he can make more money fighting anyone then GGG can and has NEVER fought at 160 and won't do so for the first time just because GGG want's him to.

Can you keep it concise? No one is reading this ****. One minute Canelo doesn't care about the belt, next he's paying step aside fees so he can fraudulently call himself the Mw champ. OK so he lied about being ready and willing to fight his mando in Sept. Strip the fraud and we move on. He can wait to move up from 156 to 160 until the superior champ moves up

GGG is the one always agreeing to the step aside you fool. So why would Canelo vacate his belt NOW when GGG has a proven track record of bending over and letting guys have voluntary defenses? When did Canelo lie about anything? He's NEVER said his next fight will be at 160. He's never called out any other fighters saying he will fight at 160. The only liar is GGG I will fight anyone at 154 or 168. But can't fight Canelo at 155? Or Ward at 168? Canelo is fighting at the same consistent weight not making promises and then saying well for this guy I'll fight at 154 but for you it has to be 160. And for you I'll fight at 168 but for you no no it has to be catchweight 164. That's GGG.

Best I can figure; the're insecure individuals who find validation in the success of others. Not boxing fans, but fanatics for certain characters and personalities, hence their poor understanding of the technical aspects of the sport. They aren't concerned about events that are good for the sport because to them, it's not a sport. It's a drama of different personalities and they (being fanatics) feel it's their place to protect those characters they given their allegiance to.

Sounds convoluted but I can come up with no other answer as to how these guys can tolerate being proved wrong in hundreds of posts and still not feel any shame or gain any education/perspective. I'm all for people having their own opinions but these people are koolaid-drinking fanatics with no interest in the truth or the sport. Just dissemination of misinformation.

You think GGG is getting rich off step aside fees? Silly child. Fighters pay sanctioning fees that cost more then what GGG is getting. And again Floyd held belts at 154 that he didn't give a crap about for 2 years not defending either at 154. There is a difference between caring little and not caring at all. And if and when GGG stops handing out exceptions to let Canelo fight voluntary fights he has no reason to vacate. But he thought he had leverage with that belt with Cotto too and you saw how that worked out.
