That is the very lamest, of your numerous lame excuses LMAO
Catchweight's have nothing to do with titles, clown-boy.
They are not mutually exclusive.
Rightly or wrongly, plenty of titles have been won at catchweight.
You don't give a **** about the integrity of boxing, or about the WBC and their "rules doe".... otherwise you wouldn't continue to defend manny-weight..... but keep peddling that lame excuse like a champion.Comment

"We don't need Ward. Golovkin doesn't need Ward...That was the reason why I said 164...If they want the fight, come to what Golovkin is asking for." Sanchez told BoxingScene.com
"I don't think Ward should have a problem making 164. He talked about fighting Mayweather at 160. Why is he talking about fighting Mayweather at 160 if he's not willing to fight Gennady at 164?"
"If they thought that it was in their best interest to fight him - or else they can go about their way. For us, Golovkin is the A-fighter in this situation and I don't care what anybody else says. It's not like Golovkin is asking him to come down to 160, like [Golovkin] was willing to do for Mayweather and go to 154."
And if Ward holds the line at 168?
"Then tell Ward to go somewhere else. We don't need Ward. That would be my response to Tom." Sanchez Said
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to bud
That's what that phony camp said just last summer. You can LITERALLY flip all the words for Canelo.
"We don't need GGG. Canelo doesn't need GGG...That was the reason why I said 155...If they want the fight, come to what Canelo is asking for." De La Hoya told BoxingScene.com
"I don't think GGG should have a problem making 155. He talked about fighting Mayweather and Pacquiao at 154. Why is he talking about fighting them at 154 if he's not willing to fight Canelo at 155?"
"If they thought that it was in their best interest to fight him - or else they can go about their way. For us, Canelo is the A-fighter in this situation and I don't care what anybody else says. It's not like Canelo is asking him to come down to 154"
And if GGG holds the line at 160?
"Then tell GGG to go somewhere else. We don't need GGG. That would be my response." De La Hoya Said
Last summer GGG's fans were defending EACH point but now cry when those same points are used against GGG by Canelo? LMAO The big difference is Canelo HAS never fought at 160 or more importantly never said he will fight anyone else at 160 and is not just making up 155 for GGG. He's fighting EVERYONE at that weight and has been consistent. GGG is the one saying he'll fight at 168 or 154 and even getting into negotiations with some fighters but for Ward nope it has to be at 164. For some fighters he can fight at 154 but for Canelo nope it has to be at 160. Why different rules for Ward and Canelo?Comment
