Not that he couldn't still compete, but he'd obviously be out of his depth at super-middleweight.

And of course Golovkin was willing to fight Froch & Chavez, there's more money in Froch and Chavez. That's been the point of the conversation. No one moves out of their weightclass for peanuts. Plus those fights were to happen immediately, not sometime next year, maybe. Even if the Ward fight would've done well, it's not bigger than Chavez and Froch, and it's not bigger than Alvarez.

BTW, why do you insist on acting ****** and pretending Ward didn't turn down a fight with Golovkin?
This post is ridiculous. And yes, guys have moved out of their weight class and fought guys who weren't huge names before. Pacquiao and Mayweather are two names who have done it. And your height and size argument is nonsense. There have been heavyweights who were only 5'10. Roy Jones is only an inch taller than GGG and fought at heavyweight. That's a difference of five weight divisions from where he originally started. You're telling me GGG, or should I say little G, can't move up one weight class?

As I said before, Ward is one of the biggest names of the potential active opponents around Golovkins weightclass. A fight between them certainly would earn more than peanuts.

And the whole argument that Ward turned the fight down is idiotic and nonsense only coming from delusional Golovkin fans. It was GGG who said Ward "was too much" for him not the other way around.

Yea, why doesn't GGG go to heavyweight? he won't be out of his depth there, I'm sure, look at Qawi at lhw, look at Tyson at hw.

As for Roy Jones, he's a juicer, the guy was 180lbs for middleweight bouts.

I've already told you Pacquiao wasn't outsized by Diaz, why are you so ******? Besides weighing just as much on fight night he is also taller, where are the disadvantages? He's faster, stronger, taller and just as heavy, the weight does nothing for his stamina. Pacquiao was only out of his depth at 147 and 154, which he admitted was pushing it too far, probably the equivalent to Golovkin moving to 175.

Golovkin would be outsized at super middleweight. That's a fact. AGAIN(i've been having to repeat myself alot to you), I'm not saying he couldn't compete, I think he's better than anyone at super middleweight, but he's definitely out of his depth like Pacquiao fighting 147 lb'ers. Unlike Pacquiao he doesn't have the big fights enticing him anymore, It was Ward, Chavez and Froch and they all turned him down. The big fight now is Alvarez, in his weightclass, whom is he mandatory to. This has been explained numerous times. And yea, Ward turned Golovkin down, it's well known, quit playing dumb, although you're fairly dopey, you're not that ******ed.

Why don't we see what happens with Alvarez/Saunders/Jacobs first before shouting "move up!".

and the defense patrol is out defending NOT fighting Ward at 168 lbs but are A OK with fighting Froch/Chavez Jr at 168 lbs.

There seems to be something wrong with that frame of mind.
