GGG would have been lucky to get 5 million....he was not gonna get that kind of money man...be real

outside of his die hard fans, no one even knows who he is....people lie, numbers dont...joe smo could fight froch in england and sell out

97k on that ppv tank says otherwise

nobody paying 10 million to a guy who hasnt even cleaned out his own weight...Froch beat everyone besides Ward and wouldve got like 80-20

exactly.....a guy in his 4th and 5th division who has near as many title fights as GGG has total fights.

wouldve been his biggest payday with the chance to beat the most respected fighter skillwise since a prime Mayweather

win-win situation....career high payday, ppv, even if he lost he keeps the belts at 160....they blew it not fighting Froch or Ward

nobody at 160 is bringing their $$, accomplishments or name recognition....Canelo is close but he is on some other ish as of these days

He was chasing Hoya.

Golovkin considering his stature and physical attributes is punching over his weight at 168, just like with Pacquiao at 147 and Mayweather at 154. It's at the point of structurally larger men not just midgets who pack on some lbs and drain in the last minute in hopes of having a strength advantage.

Mayweather nor Pacquiao would have taken those extra steps without the big fights enticing them.

And yea dummy. Golovkin is afraid of Ward now, the lethargic Ward, but wasn't afraid of Ward when he was at his peak. That's logical.

Think about this. If Golovkin had agreed to Wards terms back in 2015. The earliest this fight would happen would be later this year. So when Golovkin would be preparing to fight Andre Ward later this year at 168 after Murdok or Brand, he could've instead possibly been in preparation for a bigger fight which was in his weight-class with the superstar Saul Alvarez, coming off victories over names like Miguel Cotto and Amir Khan. How ****** do you think his management would feel then, for ignoring the big name in his weight-class whom they were mandatory to?

Gotta shut up those 5 Ward "fans" doe.
All excuses. Golovkin has to cut weight to make the 160 pound limit, Sanchez confirmed this. So GGG would not be out of his depth by fighting at 168. His team said they were willing to move up in weight to challenge Froch or Chavez Jr. but not Andre Ward, that is the epitome of cherry picking. He's managing risk and reward just like every other big name has in the past but this is even worse because at 34 GGG has a **** resume while most greats had a hall of fame resume at the same age. The guy doesn't have one great name on his resume yet. Has only faced one world champion in his ten year career, yet he wants to pick and choose the easiest available options to him.

Face it they're scared of of SOG

It doesn't make sense. Abel said that GGG would be going backwards if he moved up in weight and then moved back down to fight Floyd.

But that's exactly what he was trying to achieve when he called out Froch and Chavez Jr.
Haha you're a butt hurt simpleton

He'd most certainly be out of his depth considering his size and the average height at super-middleweight being around 6 foot. Bigger, heavier men running away from him is obviously not where he'd want to be, and he's no speed demon to be outboxing longer, heavier guys. Not that he couldn't still compete, but he'd obviously be out of his depth at super-middleweight.

And of course Golovkin was willing to fight Froch & Chavez, there's more money in Froch and Chavez. That's been the point of the conversation. No one moves out of their weightclass for peanuts. Plus those fights were to happen immediately, not sometime next year, maybe. Even if the Ward fight would've done well, it's not bigger than Chavez and Froch, and it's not bigger than Alvarez.

BTW, why do you insist on acting ****** and pretending Ward didn't turn down a fight with Golovkin?

this anti GGG squad...is seriously doing a terrible job...SMH

look, floyd said...Go fight ward, then fight me!

Team GGG is saying I go to 168 for froch/chavez jr(big fight) OR FLoyd Mayweather Jr(big fight) whatever happens first...don't you see the difference?...one is requisite and the other is a voluntary move(bussines move).

In the case those two money options are consecutive (Froch then FMJ), Abel is saying , that even in that disadvantage they are willing to do it, why? because they would make at least 8 million doing that...

F it, I would do it for that kind of money.

Will GGG do at least 4M by fighting Ward right now? personally, I dont think so.

Maybe that is why Loeffler said: "Maybe 2017"
