-There's no way that Golovkin was going to make anywhere near $10m for that fight; Froch-Groves 2 was arguably one of the most anticipated fights in recent British history (and arguably one of the biggest financial fights that Britain's ever seen) and those guys only split ~$16m between the two of them.
-With Ward making the physical commitment to light heavyweight (apparently he's now fighting in the mid 180s on fight noght), Golovkin is SOL, in regards to locking in a meaningful fight. Golovkin's outright flop on PPV seems to have had the same effect in the interest of Canelo's camp to bother with fighting him as well, lol.
