Finally Abel said what's really going on. It's time for GGG's team to start shaming Canelo and stop trying to be diplomatic.

He needs to look into weight loss science.

Boxing works like boxing works. Abel will get as many people hating on him as liking him & GGG for saying the things he can say about GBP's & Canelo's tactics with this fight.

The bottom line is this fight will happen at a catchweight or it won't happen til GGG is a year or 2 or hell maybe 3 older. GGG & Abel aren't gonna get this fight in Sept. @ 160. Thats just how boxing works right now. A side decides the terms. Canelo is the A side. Its that simple, like it or not. There is not gonna be some shaming Canelo into a fight at 160 or at a certain time.

He won't even fight him at a catchweight. Canelo won't even say he wants to fight him. Every time he's asked if he wants to fight him he talks about negotiations. Negotiations has nothing to do with a yes or no answer. If they both win Canelo has 15 days to answer a simple yes or no question. No negotiations will be taking place before he answers that questions so he can't use negotiations as an excuse if he says no.

Been posting this for awhile, Canelo will let him get OLD, that is the benefits of still being so young and having his own following. He doesn't need GGG at all and I'm not seeing much pressure from Canelo fanbase to fight GGG Next

so they will likely make him wait for as long as they can and not even the WBC can do anything about it. What will they do "Strip Canelo"? It won't matter, without a belt he will still be a bigger Draw than most. GGG and his team wants to be Chosen so they have no choice but to go along with it and HOPE they get Chosen

Absolutely, Team Lil G will accept the fight on Canelo terms, plain and simple. There will be no concessions or advantages in Lil Gs favor. That's the way a side, b side works.

Watching boxing for as long as I've been watching boxing & the outside the ring talks I don't see anything different with this fight than many other fights with pissing contest talks going on. This fight 100% can happen in Sept. or May 2017 worse case, but it'll need to be at some sub 160lb weight. Until K2, Abel & GGG realize that this fight isn't going to happen, regardless of anything they say to the media.

This fight could for sure turn into a Floyd vs Manny situation if there is some denial of reality by the GGG side about how boxing works in 2016. Canelo had to pay his own dues vs his first A side opponent by losing a couple lbs. GGG & his team should accept that also.

And the worst thing for GGG if this fight isn't made is its gonna hurt GGG more than Canelo so its gonna be a self inflicted wound. Canelo will continue to get more money for his fights & can pull another title from his ass if the WBC actually strips him at some point. And the title situation is such a clusterf#ck in boxing most Canelo fans won't even realize there was a problem.

You're making this more nuanced that it is. Golovkin is Canelo's mandatory. Before any negotiations can take place Canelo has 15 days to answer this simple question "Do you want to fight GGG?" The truth will come out within those 15 days. He's gonna say no and blame it on negotiations even though no negotiations can take place until he answers that question.
