You can't appreciate Kovalev, GGG, and Ward as fighters together as a fight fan.

Ward is local to me, a Olympic Gold Medalist, and seems to keep his ass out of TMZ and other shitty ass, dumb as fuck "media" kids turn to now days.

I'm not ruling out the possibility of Wade doing this but seriously pull off your rose tinted glasses Ward did not dominate this guy I know you all want to hype the Kovalev fight but Barrera roughed this guy up look at both guys faces the only one with notable damage was Ward but apparently Ward was blocking and dodging everything... Yeah right, pathetic biased commentary and judge scoring.

He seems to live a clean life and that's a great thing. I have respect for any celebrity that stays the hell off of TMZ for sure. And I like his faith in God and how he's not shy about it.

I am more of a GGG and Kovalev guy myself, but I don't dislike Ward. It's just a style thing really. If he were the aggressive one and Kovalev and GGG preferred to box, I'd prefer Ward. I guess I just like the guys who are more aggressive. It's all about styles really.

Personally, I feel anybody in the top ten pound for pound has to be pretty awesome and elite usually. I give him lots of credit. He took on an unbeaten guy who had some notable wins. Even if he didn't dominate, that's fine. I'm getting tired of dominant performances and mismatches. And I will say that Barrera looked like a lot tougher fight going in for Ward than Wade looks for Golovkin.

He looked a little rusty for the first couple rounds but still won them. After that he just looked like he always does. He schooled barrera and probably could have knocked him out if he took a risk.

Ward look ok what I saw was not ring rust its more then that he wasted a lot of his prime years not fighting his body just couldn't get in 2nd gear not a good sign

I muted it after the third round they simply didn't want to give Barrera his just due he was doing some effective work plus we have to take ring generalship into effect with close rounds obviously on the judges scorecard that wasn't took into fact since they had such outlandish absurd scorecards.

If this is the Ward that comes to fight Kovalev I don't fancy his chances that's the most I will say, Ward is talented but he didn't press forward or risk anything in this fight THIS is why he isn't a big named fighter like Pacquiao or Floyd, people can say Floyd is a caution first fighter but truth remains he stayed in the pocket with guys like Maidana something Ward quite simply doesn't have the talent to do.

Barrera didnt win a single round. I dont know if youre just a ward hater but he dominated barrera .
