Why is Floyd turning down Huge offers to fight Margarito?

I wouldn't say scared ****less, especially from someone with an ego like Floyd.

Floyd thinks he's the best boxer in boxing (I agree). But where I don't agree is that he also thinks he should be able to dictate ALL the conditions and say who he is willing and not willing to fight.

Floyd's trying to fight as little opposition as possible and make as much money as possible. Margarito won't be an easy fight. Floyd knows this, but thinks he has veto power because he's boxing's "best" right now.

honestly i think its a 'big risk no reward' kind of thing. Margarito hasnt done all that much honestly, but hed basically give everyone in WW a hard time and might win be the giant hard headed guy he is.

If Floyd won, everyone would consider Margarito nothin, and if Margarito won...well, that would not be happy for Floyd.

i wouldnt exactly call it ducking...but its just a bit risky. He will get more fame by fighting other guys without so much risk.

Because as soon as he beats paul williams..you gayweather nutthuggers will say he beat a nobody...if gayweather thinks he is the pound for pound best fighter than why won't he prove it....silence the critics...no other fighter has been on his critics mouth other than margarito...once he beats him than his legacy is secure but if he keeps making excuses he will be considered like pernell whitaker a great fighter who most people have already forgotten...

Clearly not.
Williams isnt the greatest, but hes certianly a step up from Josh Clottey.
