There is money for Mayweather but there is even more money in a Delahoya fight. You can't sit there and tell me if Delahoya said I want to fight Margarito that Margarito will turn it down to fight Mayweather.

Well, Oscar is going to lose to Mayorga.

So that's a really moot point. Plus I'd pay to see Mayorga v.s. Floyd any day of the week - (Evil Grin)

Not to mention Margarito would rather fight the number 1 guy in boxing just to prove himself.

If that happens(it won't) then I'd say Margarito is his biggest check outside of a Hatton fight.

Oh yeah, we discussed that months ago in a thread in the lounge. I retract my duplicate quesiton. ODLH > Mayorga

Margarito has said he wants to fight Delahoya so I don't think he would turn that down.

Not the way Mayo has been acting. He's on a strange mission, and it doesn't involve him just getting paid.

Oscar doesn't punch hard enough to bother him, and he's going to walk through small hailstorms and take the fight to him.

We'll see how Oscar can react to the pressure, and if he will crack Mayorga late: sure.

Ain't gonna happen. Mayo SD or UD.

De La Hoya would not be a feasible fight. Both fighters want to claim the bigger portion of the purse, and neither would give up any ground on the issue. There is not enough revenue to put this fight together not to mention the testy relationship between arum and the goldenboy

I think even Mayweather knows that he isn't the money man when it comes to Delahoya. I think he will get as much money as he can but no way will he throw away a huge payday by trying to get more money than Delahoya.
