I did not know that. That's bull****. I read Walters wanted $1m and the offer was $500k each. Either way it should be 50/50 and I can't blame Walters for turning down 65/35.

That was the original offer then the offer was bumped to 435K for Walters, so Lomachenko was willing to take less money for the fight. Then Loma said he would take a 50-50 (500K for each). Walters is the one asking for a million. Remember that.

But all the advantages are being given to Walters, so why can't Loma at least take a little bit more money?

HBO could fill that time slot with something else and get the same ratings without paying 2 million for it. If the fighters ask more than their ratings are worth they get dumped.
