Careful what you wish for! Ward is a master of dirty tactics according to many on this forum. By initiating that type of behavior, Barrera would play into one of Ward's strengths.
Though it would be entertaining to see the usual Ward haters explain why it was okay for Barrera to foul but not Ward.....kinda like Mayweather vs Ortiz!
but ward fights dirty when the other guy fights clean
" Ward is not a true LHW..... he has been inactive..... Ward has had injuries..... Ward used to be good, but just pressure him and don't let him breathe..... "

Aside from the Kessler bout, when has Ward roughed up an "clean" fighter? I can't recall any of his recent opponents complaining about his roughhouse tactics....
We will rely on Ward to be small, faded, and injured..... and even though our fighter has never gone 12 rounds and Ward happens to be a world-class vet, we will test his stamina.
So, his game-plan is to hope that Ward is small, faded, injured, tired.
I don't think any of those things will happen.
It would not surprise me if their game-plan is out the window by round 2.
I pick Ward to outclass Barrera and stop him.
I also pick that even though Sanchez will look really ****** for not adequately preparing Barrera, the casual fans will do nothing but make excuses, and give Ward no credit whatsoever.
I pick those same fans to re-label Barrera from 175 killer to bum.
Great post. I tried to green you, but have to spread some.
