that's about the only chance he's got, he surely won't be able to outbox ward or win a decision in oakland, so all that's left is go after him when the bell rings and hope to catch him cold, the longer the fight lasts the lower the chances for barrera

Barrera's best bet is to fight like Bika and make it into an ugly brawl, otherwise I could see him getting picked apart like Froch.

I think that worked for Bika (didn't actually work but it did give Ward a fight) because Bika has made a career of fighting ugly and he's damn good at it. I can't see a Cuban boxer with a huge frame like Barrera doing well by smothering Ward. Andre finds a way to invert a guy's game and I think Barrera will tire quickly if he goes to smother the guy with the trickiest inside game in the biz.

To me, Sullivan needs to keep space and create an economy in his punches. The only way he's winning is hurting Ward and a big, muscular guy like Barrera needs to be fresh in order to keep his shots fast and strong. That would be my concern for Andre, is if Barrera is still fresh in round 7 or 8 and is able to rain hard shots on a fighter who hasn't been active.

one thing is for sure barrera will be the biggest challenge since ward fought froch 5 years ago.all his opponents since then have been pure trash and he will be up against a legit 175 pounder who wont be easily bullied around like ward was used to doing at 168.

he's one of hbo's cash cows and ward was embarrassing him..hbo has it out for mr ward secretly imo...im a ward fan and ggg fan, but it just is wat it is..ward is about to get a bad break
