Kovalev is a Great talker little doer, he got nothing on Stevenson, he's bluffing

I'm not going to add fuel to the fire here in toasting Stevenson. The guy is done. He's almost 40. He'll never fight Kovalev. End of story.

What I would like to see is Kovalev management team (which includes HBO) call Stevenson's bluff for one last time. Agree to take the fight on Showtime.

Fonfara has called off the fight saying Stevenson is too greedy and doesn't want to share a portion of his purse. Stevenson's manager is saying the opposite, that Fonfara is asking too much money.

I have no problem with Alvarez replacing Fonfara.

There's only one guy that's actually fighting half decent fighters between the two and it isn't Stevenson.

Do we believe the guy who fought Hopkins, Pascalx2, Campillo and Cleverly. Or the guy whose been riding his KO over a washed up Dawson for the last 3 years.

Stevenson is a laughing stock in boxing at the moment.

Boxers use those face to face situations to get the fans attention and create a buzz for a future showdown.

That's why Wilder and Fury went head to head after the Szpilka fight. Wilder didn't turn his back on Fury because he knows that Fury genuinely wants to fight him and could be his next opponent, if he gets past Povetkin.

Kovalev has realised now that Chickenson will never fight him, so he treated him with contempt .. gave him the finger first then his back!

Turning your back on a man who is trying to confront you aggressively indicates contempt, not fear.

You don't turn your back on a real threat. That wouldn't be a smart move.

Let's go back to primary facts;

1st) Kovalev signed his deal with HBO (AFTER) Stevenson signed a better offer with Showtime, I didn’t say before, I said After. Initially Stevenson nor Kovalev were linked to any contract with HBO. Means, team Kovalev were also free to negotiate between Showtime & HBO.

2nd) Kovalev re-signed another contract with HBO, 2 months (AFTER) his victory over Jean Pascal, precisely 1 month after the 1st WBC purse bid that team Kovalev eventually turn down.
And now this; an avoided face to face, which clearly show how team Kovalev were bluffing all along about wanting to fight Stevenson.

Then, what was that for:

Look, Stevenson have the main major Belt, ready for an Undisputed championship clash, and the only sentence you came up with is; (Kovalev's indifference).
