In boxing , who's making his own commercials, I doubt Sergey is the only one, is he? Did we see GGG, Ward, Stevenson, Pac or May making stuff like that? So why does he feel the need to create his own clips.
As a gorgeous outward sketch often proves deceptive, Kovalev made his lofty promise turn into a mirage. He didn't even manage to maintain the pledge he has for his fans. Unlike Stevenson, who speak less and believe in practical action, often prove himselves to be sincere enough to keep his promises, otherwise he would not have approach Kovalev like he did twice in 2015.

When people like Kovalev, talk about themselves, their past achievements, wins and display of courage, etc., they tend to forget all the boundaries and their actual performance, not to mention the strong belief they have for their previous amplified statements. While diverting the fact that realistically, Stevenson can't be seen on the same level as "all talk" Jean Pascal, "50 candles" B-Hop, "no punch" Caparello or "no counter back" Agnew; For an honest thinker, it doesn't make much sense. Unless you can easily lie to yourself due to your emotional frailty, boxing fans can't really go against this almost concrete feeling, that unlike the bad press version, Stevenson highly wants to face Kovalev on a ring, however Kovalev gradually tries to prove his fans that it's not worth the real Green Belt to face Stevenson.

Sergey Kovalev is like an empty vessels that sounds much. But his vanity just exposed him to a very low position, when in times of crisis he show the white feather inappropriate of his tuff talks. On his own stage & live on HBO, Kovalev had this one chance to backup his trash talks & media commercials in an unique face to face against Adonis Stevenson. And lets guess what he did; he blatantly walked away showing the universal finger few seconds after he publicly lied about his will to unify all 4 major titles. I guess, it is honest to believe that some of us were naive enough to looked away like we didn't noticed the scene right before our eyes.
