I don't get why people act like Diaz wasn't the one with the disadvantage. Talk about daring to be great.

That's why mma is a crazy sport and Nate Diaz is the man.

If BJS was true to his word vs GGG his words would hold more weight. But he didn't, so all he is doing is joining the 'I didn't take a big shot, so I will tear down someone else who failed at it for my own personal justification' club.
BJS was asked to defend his title against GGG as soon as he won it. That's exactly what Lemieux did, and look how that worked out for David!

I don't blame BJS at all for turning Loeffler's down and taking a voluntary instead. He's talking now about fighting GGG this year. Let him enjoy being a world champion for one defence before accepting a fight he is realistic enough to know he stands no chance of winning.

Because he was vacationing in Mexico and had no preparation. The guy with a full camp gassed first. Do you know anything about combat sports??

Some of you guys are still under the illusion that Connor is supposed to be great. It was marketing and you got duped. Get over it.

How much do you know about the Diaz brothers? They're like James Toney, perpetually in the gym, but not peak trainers even with full camp. Nate's had full camps in the past and come into his fights clearly out of shape like he was vs dos Anjos.

The guy who was loading up on his shots and only concerned with a KO was the guy who gassed out.

BJS is a world title holder in the toughest and most competitive combat sport on earth.

Connor McGregor was Dana White's latest con trick to rip off gullible Americans.

Don't put your wallets away boys, Dana hasn't finished milking you yet.

Bjs shouldn't really be dishing out digs when he hasn't even faced the best in HIS devision

coming across like a jealous prick

On mgreggor , I would happily pay for another one of his fights he's exciting to watch and I don't even like mma . I would prefer to watch someone go all out and fall short than to be a puzzy and avoid the best (ggg)

I swear people here are giving Conor an easy out. He tapped and quit. Nate had Conor on top at the end of the first and Nate fought out of it. Used his legs for leverage, fought off his back and even got out of an attempted submission because that's what you have to do.

Not shoot for a takedown, easily allow the full mount and then quickly give up your back. And if you do, tuck your chin and don't give up that choke. Conor did none of those things. He didn't dare to be great vs Nate. He clearly explained that he chose Nate because Nate had no camp and would probably be out of shape and play to his strengths. A cherry pick that was actually admitted to and it backfired.
