Is Tyson Fury a better fighter than Wladimir Klitschko?

I totally agree.I think Wladimir's style is harder to beat. He will basically never lose to a smaller fighter unless he was dynamic like Mike Tyson, or skilled and strong like Evander. Those are the only types of smaller guys that could have beaten him, elite guys. But when you put him in with a fighter his own size then you see what time it is. I see that he can't deal with it, and Fury is only a good fighter, he is not a great one to me. He has good ability, ok puncher, pretty good speed. People who are blaming the loss on Wladimir being shot are deluded and haven't followed his career very closely or they have and are fan boys. I can assure everyone that he is not shot, over the hill maybe, but definitely not shot, I think he loses to Fury last year, the year before, and 5 years before that. He can't deal with a guy that can touch him and make him miss. He is an upright fighter who has no defence for incoming fire apart from to move his feet or clinch, thing is he can't wear a fighter like Fury down with his clinching and he couldn't reach him without putting himself in Fury's punching range which made him extremely uncomfortable because he doesn't trust his chin in the pocket. It's a shame because now people can blame it on age and that excuse is there but really the guy never fought anyone his own size with good ability until Fury.
Having said that I think Wladimir is the better fighter between the two basically because he would do better and beat more styles. Fury won't clinch and nullify like Wlad, and will exchange and fight so I think he will lose some fights at championship level. Wladimir is better technically and has better fundamentals.Comment

It doesn't necessarily mean current, that's you interpretation. And nobody seriously thinks 'Fury took Vlad to school', that's silly. I think you described it yourself prior to the fight that Fury was catching him at the right time, which is exactly what happened. It definitely does not. 'is' implies current. As in: "who is the best fighter (right now)? You should have worded it differently if you wanted everyone to jump on the klitschko bandwagon.
Wlad has proven credentials. Yes. His career is more successful than Fury's right now.
But who is the better fighter? Fury obviously since he just took Wlad to school.Comment

Ok but if you meant incl. career and prime vs prime or Klitschko in his prime vs Fury now, then I think that's what you should have wrote.
I think plenty of people agree Klitschko was taken to school. He landed 1 or 2 blows the entire night and was cut up and beat up over 12 rounds.
What we know is right now Fury is a much better fighter than Klitschko, since their fight wasn't even close or debatable in the slightest.
I'm not sure I said those words, but I definitely don't believe Klitschko is in his prime. He showed signs of slowing down in the past couple of years. But he was still better than anyone else, and I still don't think anyone other than Fury beats him right now.
He's definitely not shot as some people have been saying.Comment
