If Haye and Joshua grab titles, that fight would be MASSIVE.

You guys stick your noses up too much. Joshua, Haye, Fury, Klitschko, Wilder, Povetkin, Martin, and Ortiz are mixing it up and will all be fighting each other between this year and the next. Some damn good heavyweight action we've got going on right now, what's there to complain about?

I was starting to think I was going crazy for a sec. The regular belt doesn't mean ****.

Not even David Haye knows what David Haye wants.

Except a payday and a quick route to a strap.

Still laughing at the earlier Shannon Briggs post - poor guy will probably lose his mind if Haye gets an easy path to a strap.

I doubt Browne would last long against this 230lbs Haye. The idea of Haye vs Fury, Ortiz or a rematch with Klitschko sounds so much better...
Agree. Haye-Fury is a really good match up, especially.

Technically Browne's is a world title. Its the same regular title many others have in other weight divivsions and no one says they are not world champs. It is the same belt Povetkin had
No It is NOT a World title. The sanctioning body just calls it that. It's a scam to get sanctioning fees. The only world champion is the "super duper champion" The regular is the #1 contender & the interim is the #2. Povetkin was not the world champion in most eyes. It's delusional to call the interim & regular champions "world champions". It's a farce, rubbish & bullocks. The WBA has been a complete joke for over a decade if not longer. The interim champion use to be the winner of the final eliminator between the 2 top contenders while the champion was injured. If the injured champion couldn't defend by the deadline the interim champion would become the full champion but would have to give the former a shot at the title when they had recovered. Now interim is just a way to get extra sanctioning fees...

If you read what I said you would see I used the word technically. Whether or not you view him as a world champ is irrelevant. The sanctioning body rules him as that and that's their prerogative

And in fairness to the WBA, they have set up a tournament to crown 1 champ once and for all
