I knew it would be Haye or Joshua. I'm not nationalistic, nor do I have anything against those on the island, but there's a tendency among British boxers as of late so target weak title holders, and then make weak defenses. I'll give Fury credit for climbing to the very top in looking for a fight, instead of snatching the low-hanging fruit.

Haye will demolish Browne. Could be the same result as De Mori. Browne is tailor made for Haye

I agree and, with that in mind, if I were training Browne I'd urge him to weather the first 3 rounds and not swing for anything big. I don't believe that Haye can put on that much bulk and not suffer cardio issues down the stretch. It's just too much size for an athlete to put on in his mid-30's, when the body is less adaptive. We've seen that Browne can be knocked around, even put down, and still come back with fire. I think Browne might stand a chance with a disciplined gameplan. Otherwise, Haye pressures him and puts him out in 3.

Respect to Haye if he can lure Browne into that fight. For sure a solid opportunity for Haye to really get back into the HW picture. I tend to think he'll be lining up Haye vs Delboy II if he wins a title.

I do suspect he'll win vs Browne if that happens, but I'll be rooting against him cuz I think he's just looking for paydays & is phoning it in these days. Sadly with the lack of competition at the top & all the belts you can phone it in sometimes & get into a nice position.

                oh shht !

Well someone was going to jump on Browne I suppose.

Haye will be champ again, likely setting up a juicy UK unification with Joshua.

Or would the mighty IBF strip Joshua and mandate 2 more prospects to fight for a vacant title?

It gives everyone a fair turn I suppose.

The IBF belt is basically a participation award..... you will definitely get one if you hand around long enough.

Lure Joshua in with a unification. Nice move.

DeMori isn't even a fighter. Chagaev would have knocked him out within three rounds. That was just another Haye con job.

I'm not saying Browne is the favorite, but have a little respect for the improvement he's shown and the work he'd put in. He just beat a guy who'd only lost to Wlad and Povetkin.

Haye hasn't beaten anyone of note in years.

As for this fight, it's far from happening and I've heard Haye float so many stories that never came to fruition that I'm not going to get too excited about this just yet.
