Like I said, this would be a BS, ***** ass fight for Cotto but you've got to love the fans of coward, puss# Canelo trying to bash Cotto when Kirkland was already a tomato can before Canelo's fight

Kirkland would be a good opponent for the one eye cheater from Tijuana, Margarito though

If this fight happens there will be a knockout. Cotto will either have to catch Kirkland in between his high volume punches or he will be steam rolled. That's what Canelo had to do and that's what Cotto will have to do. This could be a real nightmare for Cotto if Kirkland has what he had for Canelo. Fortunately for the better technical fighters that Kirkland can get pretty sloppy at times and he can be caught with a good counter shot. I think Cotto vs Kirkland would be a fun and interesting fight.

Honestly, I kinda like this fight if kirkland has a good camp... If he can survive early rounds, he could give cotto some margarito 1 flashbacks...

But most likely kirkland will be a punching bag for cotto

People that have sparred with Golovkin and Kirkland both say the power is the same. There is no doubt Kirkland packs a wallop. When he is in shape, he is hard for anyone to deal with. Given Cotto won't have a size advantage, I'd actually favor Kirkland to take this fight. I can't believe people are in here complaining about this fight. Its guaranteed fireworks. I'd prefer seeing this over any of the other big name options on the table. Cotto isn't going to waste his time fighting an unknown. He is making big money with the RocNation deal so it has to be an established guy. Kirkland presents war stylistically. This should be the choice.

Hate to say it but I agree. Roach is a good trainer so hopefully he tells Cotto to just work the jab until around Round 5-6. Kirkland has KO power in both hands.. Good thing he's lazy and ******.
