I don't see any of the heavies giving Ortiz a shot. His only chance was to be someone's mandatory and that isn't happening.

I swear all this "regular" and "super" champion crap baffles me. I miss the good old days when it was simpler and just one type of champion. Its irritating.

Cant get out of my mind that dehaupas match dont recall his name but he took some good shots from that guy even shut his eye up the drummerboy guy hurt him spzilca was winning his share of rounds until that monstrous k.o.shot deontay is there 2 be hit with his wide shots and his hands down dfence what will happen when ortiz clubs him with one of those counter temple shots he so effectively land people doubted deontays chin and hes managed to prove people wrong until now but ortiz is at a whole different level boxing and punching wise arguably the hardest puncher in the division maybe even better than deontay himself.plus ortiz comes from a traditionally one of the best boxing schools in the planet.the best way for deontay to win is fighting on the outside moving constantly and tying ortiz up when he does manage to get inside but coming to analize deontay wilders pride and machismo he will eventually get drawn into a slugfest and thats ortiz bread and butter the smarter man and the one who better sticks to their gameplan is going to come out on top.

And Wilder didn't 'parry' his head, he literally grapped the top of Szpilka's head, held it in place, and launched the chopping right (all in one move).
Not trying to argue or deny the existence of the move you're talking about, just doubting that what Wilder did is what you're talking given the above reasons.
Also, just to be clear, I'm not criticising Wilder for what he did, Floyd uses head control all the time to prevent return fire and other fighters use head control too, I'm just saying it kinda looked funny on the replay, like when you see in movies or real life when an adult holds the top of a kid's head and the kid swings his arms Wildly trying to hit the adult. I'm also saying it was the first time I seen head control used quite like that.

Ortiz is too slow of foot to compete with Wilder, and let's not kid ourselves, Wilder is the harder puncher between the two. Ortiz tkos opponents, Wilder puts opponents on their back and to sleep. Ortiz knows this and will likely do what Cuban boxers do in face of punchers...... box.

Tyson Fury can box....He's mentally tough, decent speed and pop...plus he's been boxing since a kid....He's the only one I see that could beat Wilder....but it will not be easy.
