If the hype and emotion is laid aside, it doesn't take a fan of Khan to see that he was avoided on the basis of being risky. Styles make fights and while FMJ likely had the handling of him, it was all about risk management, Floyd and his team had to have the X,Y &Z on opponents down to a T.
Anyone who believes Berto drew bigger numbers than a Khan fight would have are dreaming and tripping when they wake up. No-one ever talked their way out of a fight by talking up a fight. Believing the Ellerbe blurb is to suck on the mainstream vacuous teat. If the fight was clearly winnable, they'd have snapped that **** up. Facts before hype. And you ain't got to believe Khan was gonna win it, you only need to think in terms of risk... and Berto had shopworn plus speed discount written all over him.
Floyd multiplied his incredible skill and dedication with second to none risk management and assessment. That was the winning combination, clear as day.

This is an example of the term "styles make fight doe" being misused. Style isnt how a fighter is measured.. opposition is the best tool when measuring a fighter. Bcuz Khan is "fast" hes being vastly overrated and his opposition being COMPLETELY ignored.

Definitely. A fully-equipped ambulance and expert paramedics by ringside should be ready for him to save his life if he gets a few clean shots. I'm sure Cotto needed to check in a hospital after his fight with Canelo. He was very fortunate that Canelo didn't go all out to try and destroy him, and his legs lasted all fight miraculously. But if Khan is not that fortunate, he could end up in an emergency room fighting for his life. I really admire his guts though!

All the Khan haters don't seem to realize or accept the fact that Khan is right on this one. Floydie would've went bonkers trying to run from a speedy slick boxer like Khan. Yeah, Garcia beat Khan, what, 3 1/2 years ago?, as did Prescott, what, 8 years ago. So what? Tough challenges sometimes equal tough results. As for Brook, Khan has said recently that fight could happen. And last time I checked, just so he eventually fights Brook, it isn't a duck.

Meanwhile, along with MANY other fighters, Floydie definitely ducked Khan. But the Floydiots don't have a peep to say about that now do you?
