Why would you wana knock off your biggest promoter in the world? Khan has been promoting Mayweather for years and he is still doing it even after Floyd retired. Khan keeps Floyd relevant, if he fought and beat him, then Khan would stop promoting Floyd.

A promoter who does it so well and for free? Who wouldn't want that?

I think you have it backwards. Floyd keeps Khan relevant.

Maidana was coming straight out of his best win in his career and a contender for fight of the year, and had beaten Floyd's previous undefeated multy division champ of a lil bro, Adrien Broner.

Maidana was hyped to be the ******nite to Floyd's style because of what he did to Broner.

Maidana was the obvious choice for all the reasons above. Yawl shouldn't be willing to sacrifice your intellect just to satiate your hate towards someone. Seriously, why you guys choose to look ****** just to satisfy your insignifant hate is beyond me.

Anyone with a brain knows Maidana was the best choice both competetively and from a marketing standpoint, at least in foresight.

The worst thing about the whole thing is that yawl would have been crying about Mayweather ducking Maidana if he'd chosen Khan. And if he'd chosen to fight Khan instead of rematching Maidana, yawl would have been crying that he ducked a rematch with Maidana. In fact, yawl would have loved it if he didn't rematch the guy so that you can continue to pretend that Maidana actually won the first fight and Floyd was too scared to 'lose again'.
Not to mention the fact that posters here called the Khan fight a cherrypick, and were mad that he was even being considered over Maidana.

Firstly, there's no reason why a fight with Khan would have prevented Mayweather from fighting Maidana at a later date. There's no reason Mayweather wouldn't have fought and beat Maidana having beaten Khan. Despite my personal dislike for the man for who he is outside the ring, inside the ring he is one of the all time greats.

Secondly, never have I once claimed that Maidana beat Mayweather so either you've got me confused with someone else or you are projecting your own subconscious doubts on to me. In fact, considering how many times you have presumed to know how I would react I would say there's a lot of of projecting going on.

I thought Mayweather was Mayweather's biggest promotor? Are you suggesting he is a lesser star without Khan? Seriously, give the man some credit. He deserves more respect than this.

Manny Pacquiao did not want to face his style either.

I guess everyone is just terrified of Khan.

This...To duck someone means that you fear what they bring to the table talent-wise. He recently beat arguably better footwork, speed, and power in the form of Pacquiao 9 to 3. Why on Earth would he be afraid of Khan?

i think Khan should focus more on his upcoming fight with Canelo.

If i was him i would be checking the right stretcher, the hospital i am going to be checking in, etc.

Khan chased Mayweather vs Khan fought his way to Mayweather.
