This is pretty much the only thing I agree with Khan on. Mayweather ducked him.

At best, Mayweather comes across petty and childish towards Khan but also disrespectful and dismissive towards his fans who chose Khan over Maidana.

I don't believe there is a universe that exists in which Khan beats Mayweather. I was merely speculating on Mayweather's motives for ducking Khan and how it could be perceived. For example, you seem to agree with what I said first, that Mayweather is petty and childish in that he'd rather spite Khan and disrespect his own fans than as you say give Khan a pay day. That's the best case scenario here.
