Things like this will only help MMA.
When Holly Holm lost I thought Dana White was probably going to be pissed off, because the Holm-Rousey 2 would have been huge. Then I thought about it a little more and the UFC will now get at least two big fights instead of one. Now the Holm-Tate rematch becomes interesting and the winner can face Rousey or they can potentially meet a third time.
It was obvious that McGregor would take losses, but people are still going to want to see him. He's entertaining. That simple.

People keep thinking MMA is taking L's when in reality they are taking W's. People are going crazy over this event and everything happening in that sport. UFC is bigger than the fighters, just remember that. UFC may the best promoter in any sport right now. They do a great freaking job at getting people hyped. Boxing could learn a few things. Instead Boxing is a close-minded sport.

        Just an opinion.

He got his a s s beat? By Nate Diaz? Well I'll be damn. He shouldn't of jumped up so many weight classes so fast, isn't he a featherweight or something?

Anyway, Jon Jones is the last star the UFC has. If Jones loses, UFC might not last very long.

Just look at that coward Golovkin, K2 had a bunch of f*ggots on Boxing Scene praying for a guy like that, so he gets elevated to greatness without accomplishing anything.

It's tough with combat sports. Greatness is rarely built off winning fights, it's built off gaining a fanbase.
There is a reason why Ward didn't want to compromise and meet "lil g" at 164, he knew he would have gotten taxed, hence why he moved to 175 and tried to lure other weak 168 pound guys up to 175.

we've been hearing this for too long

UFC is not like boxing.. It does not live off super stars. They're constantly created and destroyed. Just not what it lives off. Far different from boxing

                  it works. i'm hooked.

Lol@ all the Floyd phaggots celebrating this. Conor has balls and lost. No shame there. It just proves that a bigger stronger guy trumps skills, always. I never watch ufc and tonight was way better than any boxing I've seen in years.
