Not calling anybody a HYPE, I'm still a huge McGregor fan but I do think media people and PRIDEFUL FANS Crown guys too early

I agree, I don't like the guy and was happy he lost, but it's gay how Mayweather fans dislike him just because of the comments he made, which was clearly just to hype him up..

            • And Canelo is bigger than Golovkin? Wtf?

Anyway, race baiter Hype Job pleaded to take him off ignore and I did, under the stiupulation that he stops with the race stuff. But on it he goes again.

If i'm not mistaken, he compared McGregor, who weighs 177lbs, going up to 170 to Floyd, who weighs in the 150 going to 170. Was that his argument? Anyway he had no answer for it, so he brought up Canelo vs GGG which the weight stipulations there are politics over anything else. I fully back Canelo's stance of wanting the fight at 155, even if he walks around 200lbs. But whatever, if GGG is smaller like he says, then he should have no issue coming down to 155 like the "bigger" guy Canelo does.

I could care less, i excepted this to happen and actually wanted this to happen to drop his ego after he was talking about fighting Lawler (which he would have been murdered in 1 round). I'm saying what it is. Its different fighting FW where you have advantages. Hes a LW at most and at LW he cant dominate like at FW, and he's no WW, those guys walk around in the 200's.

                  No doubt about that.

That's the number I heard too and what a slap in the face that is. But I think she doubled it with the win bonus.

It helps when you have a lot of fans to build that hype off of. With boxing, you have to find fans that get hyped off your fighter, in the UFC the fans are already there waiting for the next flavor of the month to slob off.

Just look at that coward Golovkin, K2 had a bunch of f*ggots on Boxing Scene praying for a guy like that, so he gets elevated to greatness without accomplishing anything.

It's tough with combat sports. Greatness is rarely built off winning fights, it's built off gaining a fanbase.

He fought 25lbs above where he usually does and I don't think he took the extra weight into account, he gassed considerably after 6 minutes and paid the price. He was toying with Diaz but when you get tired, everything changes.
For sure. He was winning the fight handedly & had Diaz's face a bloody mess, then I started seeing him breathing hard & moving tiredly in the 2nd, then he started getting hit, then it was over. Fatigue makes cowards of men as the saying goes.

I would say McGregor needs to work on his ground game. His previous L's were quick submissions where he seemed lost on the ground & this one seemed the same. We had just seen Holm get taken to lightsoutville via a choke cuz she was trying to find a way out of, but McGregor tapped like it was a training session with a friend. Maybe I'm too harsh cuz I wasn't the mfer getting choked the f#ck out, but I think it says a lot about a fighter & their confidence on the ground when they don't get put to sleep or at very least don't tap so quick in those sorta situations.
