Imagine GGG was mexican and Canelo was from Kazakhstan. Canelo would be virtually unknown, would have never gotten the chance to fight against Cotto or Floyd. Maybe he would have fought Lara and he wouldnt have gotten the decision against a Haymon fighter. He would be a poor B level fighter. GGG would be the king of the sport, #1 P4P and the face of boxing.

As for the weight, I'm sure every soul on the planet would prefer the fight at 160 but Golovkin shot himself in the foot when he said he'll fight anyone from 154-168. Clearly he will fight "some" people in those weight brackets not everyone.

Unless gg stops agreeing to step aside Canelo won't be stripped. You say all gg wants is the wbc belt then stop stepping aside so the champ can get stripped and gg gets the wbc title

The 155 and 90/10 split are not very fair. They are not the worst though. Canelo once said that if he was forced to fight GGG, he would no longer be his friend. That would be the most tragic.
