Either you too young to have watch Mosley or you just an idiot to keep saying he was in his prime for the cotto fight
You don't need to insult people just because you disagree on a topic. Plus, as I said, mainstream boxing coverage and, in all likelihood, history, will be on our side. Don't you think that means something? And, again, if you think that Oscar was at the same stage as Mosley, or even better, as you implied, then I just don't know what to say to that. I certainly don't see what you're seeing, but I'm confident that my position will be the one the history books have.

      Cotto stan logic:
"Margarito was only good because he used bricks doe! he was really a bum without them!"
"Mosley beat a brickless Margarito after he lost to Cotto! Which means he was in his prime!"

Hell, in their minds, this fight didn't even happen

I guess this was just an exhibition...

Vargas' last fight before he fought Shane was only 6 months earlyer.... Vargas was a top 5 junior middle weight at that time..... Mosley's prior fight before Vargas was 6 months before.... They're both active... dafuq idiot.

Because he never ducks and goes in guns blazing in every fight. He's an honest fighter.

He did duck this guy GGG pretty hard. And vacant belts vs Pinto, quintana, Jennings, then disabled rabi and Sergio, and there's a whole lot less there than meets the eye

Vargas was washed up and not ranked by anyone credible. He had just come off a brutal ko by Oscar the second brutal ko of his career and was busted for roids after the fight. He had 2 long layoffs between 2002-2006 and problems with weight. He retired one fight after mosley dude was a complete shell of the fighter that fought tito and oscar in his prime. You have to go back 5 years to find the last quality performance from vargas before the mosley fight. That was a cross roads fight between 2 past their prime fighters.

EXACTLY. They discounting the loss to Margarito because the wraps then using a wrap less Margarito to inflate his win against mosely saying he was still in his prime? SMH

Cotto is a good all around fighter but his body was just not made for the elite of boxing.

Too heavy for 140, which means his chin was dodgy at the weight, was inexperienced there and thus was never allowed to fight anyone good at that weight. A natural 147lber, but compared to the big 147lbers of his day, he couldn't deal with their power and he got the prime beaten out of him by Margarito-Clottey-Pacquiao. At 154 again he looked like just a guy who should be at 147 but couldnt make that weight, with the same problem of being short, with short arms, poor late round stamina and a dentable chin. His 160 run was a bit of a mirage, but I do think Roach would've helped him fulfill his full potential if he'd had him from the start. Gained a lot of explosiveness that he never had before because he used to train at a very leisurely pace.

Bad loss for Cotto. He should have just fought Martinez back then. I think he would have won.

Cotto lost to Margarito in the first fight because he never clinched. If he would have just clinched he would have won. I don't even think about the wrap aspect though I guess it's possible.
