I can't stand Floyd but his fights vs Gatti and Canelo are what out boxing someone looks like...in and out, hit and move...frustrate your opponent...win easily...

Lomanchenko does it perfectly now but he's not fighting any world beaters yet.

Whitaker did not hit one time than hold the only thing they did alike was bend down past the waist to avoid a punch and I don't recall Whitaker always holding

Outboxing someone to me is winning rounds without hurting your opponent.

Didn't Fenech outbox Nelson in the first fight

          Didn't Hatton outbox Tszyu ?

Boxing is HIT and not get hit.

Not, not get hit and then maybe hit if it's safe to do so.
See Mayweather vs Canelo. Mayweather stood in front of Nelo and proceeded to outbox and humiliate Nelo. It was painful to watch as a Nelo fan. You could see the frustration in Nelo s face. He was being toyed with.

Landing punches while not getting hit in return, it can be accomplished in any number of ways. It is pretty simple~

When did Floyd hit one time and hold? At the end of his career when he was a shot fighter? Running around the ring, gasping for air, clinching a MILLION times! Again, we cant change history and say thats what got him to where he is today!

Whitaker was a flashy bobnweave, showboat for the audience, defensive specialist!

Floyd is an athletic version of Ward! He used to counter from every single angle available, lead shots as well.

Whitaker would outbox and humiliate JMM, but he wouldnt do half of the things Floyd did to him! Floyd did pure magic on that man!

Whitaker was sloppy most of his career!
