On topic I would have to say Mayweather - The Gatti and Corrales fights were brutal boxing lessons. Mayweather made a lot of great fighter look very ordinary I havent really seen Pacquaio dominate in the same way - Marquez was clearly robbed a number of times against Pacquaio and the likes of Mosley, Hatton, and De la Hoya were beaten by Pacquaio after they had already fought and were beaten by Mayweather. The De la Hoya fight was a joke, Oscar was a husk of a man when he fought Pacquaio and Hatton was already damaged goods.

But if it's about spectacle and excitement then give me a prime Morales, Marequez or Cotto over those two.

Basically Floyd made Pac look like a regular fighter. Maidana had more determination than Pac.

Only thing Pac fans go by was that his shoulder was supposedly hurt. Lol

These types of denials and insecurities by people is why people cheat, lie, steal... human nature. People are willing to give it a pass because their idol was shown as a B level fighter vs Floyd.

People like to stare at car accidents...

Put any random bloke in front of two tv sets and compare Gatti vs Ward / May vs Pac. Ask them "which one is boxing?"

Do the same thing again, put Ward vs Gatti / Olympic Bout. "Which one focuses on skill?"

Any way you look at it. May and Pac have seen it all.

Empirically, Mayweather Jr. is just simply the superior boxer. It's just fact.

Dang in every positive poll Pac is winning, but when it comes to who cheated the most Floyd is winning by a landslide

Floyd was a special talent but he took the easy and most profitable route, cant blame him there but he wont be remembered well. Manny's fights were very fun to watch and rewatch.

By the by, Manny's remarks on Gays will be forgotten before september when he and Floyd fight again.

Yea, I said it. Nobody believes Floyd is actually retired right?

One is the best of his generation. The other is Manny.

The biggest prize in boxing used to be the HWT title. Now the biggest prize is being the 1st to defeat Floyd. Think about that!

It's no coincidence that I also enjoyed watching Whitaker, Hopkins (Preferably in his prime) as those guys were very versatile.

Floyd beat a bunch of big name has beens and overated paper champs. He played games and waited many fighters out and fake retired to avoid fighters. He cheated by masking peds along with getting contriversial wins over castillo and maidana and to some oscar. He ducked a rematch with oscar. He also ended with a d fighter in berto.

He is overated to say the least
