its pretty much the same thing, the only thing that changes is the 10% that comes off top.

Roc Nation will win it with a purse bid of $65,000,000, outbidding the next closest bid by $40,000,000.

Haymon lives by the sword, maybe he dies by the sword. He will have to dig deep to beat the Russkis.

Well no, the article states Wilder would get more if he has to travel. The WBO do that - it means 75/25 split guaranteed.

In the WBC scenario, if Wilder wins he's entitled to 73%. If he loses, he's only entitled to 63%. If we're potentially talking big money, likely with Ryabinskiy all over this, then thats a pretty big difference

Once/if this is finally signed, I hope neither of them are allowed to drive a car within 3 months of the fight.

So 70/30 to Wilder at a minimum, how high would it be if he has to travel to Russia? 75%? 80%?

Imagine Ryabinsky goes as high as $15M. 80% would equal $12M for Wilder. That's retirement money.

Personally, I don't see anything crazy at the bid. $23M for Klitscho-Povetkin was a ludicrous purse bid and Ryabinsky lost millions in that fight.

I'm going to predict a conservative number for this fight. I think the winning bid will be less than $5M.

This is the way it should be. The side offering the most money will get to promote the bout.

                    Take notes, Kathy Duva.
