I always assumed his daughter's medical bills must be astronomical, so even if that story isn't true, it shows quite a degree of selfishness to be splashing out on shit like customised Lamborghinis when you have no idea how long your financial stability will last. Wilder wants us to think he's a humble man and devoted father (which I'm sure he is) but then goes around spending money like water at the possible expense of his daughter's quality of life. He needs to prioritise man.
