I repeat my earlier prediction that Loeffler was just being polite, and there has not been, nor will there be, any talks or negotiations between K2 and GBP about making GGG-Hops.

I stand by that bet, and for you to insinuate that Hopkins sending out a press release constitutes actual negotiations taking place is really weak on your part
The press release insinuates they had a discussion. the only question would be whether it met your criteria of "serious".

Fine with me. There is plenty of time. You like to pretend every thing they do that is hypocritical or reveals their true nature is a joke or not real. Yet whenever he says "unification" that is 100% real to you.

At some point GGG and his team will make your devotion look foolish. Of course you will not care because your posts about him and the criticism he gets suggests the primary reason you support GGG has more to do with what he isn't than what he is.

You sure dodged the question which was why would Ward offer to go to 160 for Mayweather but go no lower than 168 for GGG? Ward is the joke not GGG. Why does Ward even make his bogus call outs to GGG when GGG was in training for a contracted fight with fellow champion Lemiux? A brave champion would be trying to fight the other champions in his own weight class like GGG does. He wouldn't make pretend challenges to a boxer he is so jealous of in the weight class below his. Your love for Ward and insane hate for GGG makes you throw logic, common sense and fair play out the window. You hate him so much you copycat Ward and call him Lil G. Why Ward fans prefer to watch Ward wrestle, clinch, head butt and hold and hit his way to a decision than watch GGG knock everybody out is a mystery to me. Call him lil g and a joke all you want but it doesn't change reality. Reality is Ward almost never fights but he sure talks big. He fights a bum once every 2 years while GGG defends his title against ranked contenders or champions 4 times a year. Ward has been a pro for years longer than GGG and yet GGG has more KO wins than Ward has total fights. That's part of the difference. GGG fights a lot. Ward just talks a lot. GGG is such a joke that he is ranked HIGHER pound for pound than Ward by Boxing Scene, Boxrec, HBO, Ring magazine, ESPN and everybody else with eyes and a brain.

Over the next 2 years, GGG knocks out six MW contenders in front of sold out arenas and puts himself in a mandatory position to fight for WBC (and lineal) title against one of the biggest PPV fighters in boxing. In the meantime, Ward KO's a top 30ish fighter in Paul Smith at 172 on BET. Two years later when GGG and his team are asked what will it take to make a Ward fight, they say we will meet in the middle -- 50/50 at 164. Ward says no can do then waits OVER TWO MONTHS before sending GGG an offer in an email all on his terms - 50/50 at 168. K2 gets the offer after they had signed on for the Lemieux fight with the Cotto/Canelo winner on deck. They quickly decline. Ward and RocN run to the press claiming GGG's ducking. GGG's team responds that it would've been ****** for GGG to lock himself into a long term commitment with Ward who needed a couple of tuneups when Golovkin has a chance to gain the WBC belt in a big PPV fight in his own division. These are all indisputable facts.

While Hopkins has been nearly as inactive as Ward, his last fight was against a significantly better opponent than Paul Smith. He’s also a LHW so 168 would be meeting in the middle just like 164 would’ve been for Ward. Again just the facts…

The way I see it, Ward missed the GGG boat because he didn’t put in the work. The contract Ward sent to GGG last year had the two fighting in the fall of this year. In hindsight, I’d say GGG made the right call in passing.
Is there anything here that is factually incorrect?

No, it doesnt, unless of course you WANT it to indicate that.....

And its not devotion, its objectivity combined with being able to appreciate talent, even when forced to fight subpar opposition. And should K2 makes moves that I find questionable, I will be right here to call BS same as everyone else......

You are not objective about GGG. All of us appreciate his talent.

                you assume correctly.

Granted, there is always the remote possibility that they do not have the correct information, or are keeping it to themselves, but I doubt it. I have never gotten deliberately wrong info from them.

I like GGG and think he is 10 times better than Ward. I don't know what trolling is except in regards to deep sea fishing. I am a GGG fan and he has lots more fans than Ward for obvious reasons. If I like a fighter and he is getting unfairly trashed I am going to stick up for him. If that's trolling then I am trolling and tough **** if you don't like it.

How can they not have the correct information? They either know or they don't.

Steve Plunger. I am sorry. I read your post too quickly and got it wrong. You were calling the Ward lovers trolls and I agree. I apologize for my mistake.
