Probably the case. Postol and Crawford should be fighting.

When has may weather ever only landed like 100 punches??? Pistol had more clinches then punches landed. Go back and time how long his clinches were each time and then add then up. It's over 50% of the fight!

i don't know why refs let this crap keep continuing. do they not know the rules? do they not know which guy is the clincher? guys are clinching like ten times a round or more wtf? if his opponent threw 10 low blows i'm sure he would be warned/penalized in that very round. but when its clinching well maybe you get a warning, maybe! maybe a point off if you are insanely lucky. the ref is the most important element of the fight and there's zero regulation on him. everything else is extremely regulated. can only drink water, can only wear such and such gloves, can only weigh so much, but the rules? its a matter of opinion!

boxing used to have tension. when you see a guy clinching nonstop in teh first round all the tension goes right out the window....oh so this is how it's going to go. boxer vs puncher matchup used to be will the boxer be able to hang on and make it to the final bell before hte puncher catches him. now its just will the boxer be able to hang on literally! 2 reasons it should be cracked down. 1 its against the rules and 2 it makes fights excrutiating to watch. how can anyone complain about that? just cause your fav fighter does it? lame?

GREAT analogy!!! Your right! Might as well let a guy do a bunch of low blows! Ppl think that no big deal but if they had to not only carry their weight but the others guys weight in a fight they would not that stuff wears you down. Even when they do call a penalty it's not until like round 7+ and by then your tired and can barely stand. So the damage is done.

I've been noticing this for a while...HBO schedule is filled with one-sided fights.

And please don't try to convince me Canelo-Khan will be competitive. The size difference will be the same as Canelo vs. Josesito Lopez...but Lopez has a better chin.

I'm looking forward to it for some odd reason.

I wonder if Khan will be like a pesty Nat that Canelo keepds trying to swat down. And then the Nat will get ****** and show off... And then BAM down goes Kha...I mean the fly.

Then sell it to another network........Oh that's right!....Arum burned every bridge he has in the industry and cornered himself into solely dealing with HBO who is operating on a thin budget.

No. Loma vs Romula was one of the lowest rated HBO fights I've ever seen. 475k for a HBO fight. I actually think it's the lowest I've seen with no Showtime card against it.

It must be nice to have Steve Kim as your media mouthpiece any time you want to badmouth a network or a promoter.

Why should HBO care? Pretty sure both fighters are under no contract so they are well within their right to reject any mismatch they see fit.

Arum needs to try selling his mismatches elsewhere.
