What the hell are you talking about? I don't see Lomachenko threads on here that often, do you? You and this other poster seem to think everybody is making threads about Lomachenko every day (that other poster made the last Loma thread I'm pretty sure, besides this one, and it was more of a hate thread). I don't see this hype you're talking about. I'm definitely one of the biggest Loma fans and you don't see me making threads about him. I don't want Lomachenko to have GGG or Ward (or May/Pac) type of fans, because quite honestly those fans are freaking annoying and always bring their fighters up. I can't blame them for it, but it does get annoying.
I don't know where "All you ever hear is Loma hype" is coming from because I don't freaking see it or hear it. After his last fight no one was praising him, most people were talking crap about him.

Go check your ears and eyes.
    Deal with that ****er.

Right except Lomachenko vs Walters is an exeptional fight with the winner getting P4P considerations and Postol vs Granados is a very solid fight. If HBO and Nelson are rejecting its a massive problem. It would be an A level card.

Exactly but knowing Arum he would want to "build it up". I kind of dont blame him cause the dont have the fan base or exposure alot of fighters do but HBO doesnt have the budget for it. I'm 100% sure that if those were the next fights then HBO would sign off on it

In some ways Bob is right, HBO needs to open the door to more of his fighters... actually to more fighters in general. But in some ways Bob is just being a jurrr-cough for not negotiating better with Haymon, to get some better matchups coming. Sometimes I wanna tell 'Annoyed Arum' to start taking Super Cleanse. Get rid of all that backed up negative shiiii.

I'm with Arum here because Arum Track Record and history tells me that old man knows WTF he is doing and he knows how to build up Superstars like no other in boxing today STILL!
Fans just want to see good fights. If it seems like a network is asking the promoters to offer better matchups in order to get airtime then how could you possibly be against that?

You say that Arum creates stars. That might be true but he does it by having his guys fight mismatches so that they look like monsters and world beaters. As a fan I don't want to see uncompetitive, one sided bouts.

Again trying to question a guy who helped build up more Superstars than anybody currently in boxing today is LAUGHABLE! Arum knows build up stars TAKES TIME! You can't make it happen overnight and that is what not only HBO but many of today's boxing fans want, they want guys to step up competition after 15 Pro Fights lol it is kinda laughable how naive many of today's boxing fans are. Arum knows WTF he is doing, he Track Record Shows That!

The difference is compared to how they're pushing GGG is that GGG is about to be 34 this year while Arum fighters like Crawford, Loma, Gilberto Ramirez, Felix Verdejo, Walters these guys are YOUNG! They don't need to become Big Draws and Superstar overnight compared to older guys.

If HBO don't want to pay up the money he wants for big fights between HIS FIGHTERS, he has every right to decline and/or try to sell it to another Network. HBO shouldn't get to set the rules in boxing now all of a sudden.

You deal with your hero not being able to get a fight date because he won't take a good fight. You're mad no one wants to see his bum style.

HBO shouldn't be in the business of airing mismatches. There's nothing wrong with them demanding good matchups for the money they are paying out.

I understand that it takes time to build up stars but put that **** on TruTv or ShoBox something. Leave the prime HBO slots for competitive fights.

loma's last 3 fights were utter garbageeeeeeeeeee, and they were so boringgggggggggg. if loma-walters is offered that's a great fight, but how much does arum expect hbo to pay these guys? a million dollars each? that could be a problem. not that it isn't worth it it compared to what they spent on rios-bradley but yea. also they should pay postol not to fight on hbo
