Anybody here think it'd be smart for GGG to come out right now and declare he'll agree to 155?..

This isn't a recent trend. Some of you guys are exposing yourselves right now.

CW for titles are recent? Are you serious? Really, do some of y'all know ANYTHING about the history of this sport?
Are you new to reading, my ******ed friend? I was very clear, what's new is champs demanding CWs vs divisional contenders. That's the worst kind of CW, since it automatically invalidates your belt. Canelo took it to an extreme with the most pitiful CW demand ever

Wrong again dumb****. Did Ggg win the lineal SMW belt, then demand to defend at 161 vs mando Ward, who he outweighs fight night? No, none of that happened

          Let me help you guys:

SRL refused to defend his LHW title against anybody (including mandatorys) in the LHW division unless they agreed to his CW. (Bob Arum inspired)

          It's the same fcking thing.
Huh Duh.............. Canelo is doing the same thing. It's not new. What's new is you "boxing" fans who started watching highlights of the sport 2 years ago.

How many fighters who were champs at the time, had to defend their own belts at a CW, against the lineal title holder, whilst also being a mandatory?

            A CW isn't a CW.

            It depends on the circumstances.

Having a CW as a voluntary, is completely different to defending titles and fighting the lineal title holder at a CW.

It's wrong, but I just don't get the double standard.

What makes it even worse with Canelo is he's lineal, he's asking for a CW vs mando, lowest possible CW (both unprecedented) while weighing more than the challenger fight night lol
I couldn't have put it better myself.
