A Side vs B Side goes out the door once a fight is a mandatory , Wilder don't have to agree to Provetkin demands , Provetkin don't have to agree to Wilders demands just let the WBC do its job .. Canelo/GGG

Rumor on Twitter is Povetkin wants it in Russia and the best way to get in there is purse bid.

Hope Wilder got his winter coat and snow boots ready.

The WBC won't sanction this fight in Russia. If Povetkin's promoter wins the bid he better hold it in Germany or somewhere in the UK.

This is a big fight. Not mega but itllbe huge.

Wilder will get big money but Russia IMO may be the dirtiest "big" country for sports

Deontay should be happy If it goes to Russia he will be sure to get a great pay-cheque and in my opinion that's all that matters.

                  Not even for $11M?

If Ryabinsky puts up a $15M purse, Wilder gets 75% split. That kind of money is very hard to pass up...

What makes you say that? I rarely pay attention to where abc title fights are going down at, but does the WBC got a Russia ban or something I'm unaware of or whats the basis of your opinion here?

I don't see the issue with going to Russia. I know Wilder is on record as saying he'd not be willing to go to Russia, but he's also said he wants to be a world champion & defend his belt in other countries so there is some argument he could still be up for this.

And honestly I think the best possible outcome for Wilder is if this fight happens in Russia cuz Ryabinksy will overpay on a whole other level for Povetkin fights it seems so Wilder gets paid the best for this fight in Russia. If Povetkin is using PEDs, he's been using PEDs & already has gained the benefits of them &/or using them during a 2mo training camp will be of little difference to the end result. And I've seen nothing to suggest Russia has any more bad decisions than anywhere else. So I don't see the issue with going to Russia.
