I'm not Mexican or a Nelo fan but I think he should stay at 155 and GGG, being the B side, needs to cut 5lbs if he wants some of that star money. The ugly thing is Canelo holding that 160 belt. He needs to drop that sucker as it looks bad to hold a belt outside your weight class. There is nothing wrong with Canelo staying at 155. That is his weight class and he's the star. Golovkin can fritter away his remaining few boxing year crushing cans if he's afraid to seek greater things.

Trip G should just take the 155 and come in at 160 and see what happens then.

There's no 155 weight class, look it up dummy. And yes, Gggs people said they're open to a CW when Canelo loses that belt

You're reduced to clutching onto semantics to prove any kind of point you can possibly hold onto. Lol. Cong**** on the new low.

What kind of crap is this? Was there a point there, other than your usual butthurt venting?

Just because they don't announce these things doesn't mean it's not going on. People like to pretend like GGG isn't making demands on his side either but I'm sure he is.

Canelo can say he wants 155 and GGG can want 160 all they want. But realistically, as their fight gets closer that's when we'll get a better idea on who's getting more leverage.
No. The agreement is they both have a fight and their next fight is against each other. If they can't negotiate they go to purse bid. Nothing is stopping this fight. If an injury happens that'll stop the fight. All that stuff you talking about is irrelevant because a purse bid will rectify those issues.

Things can go on behind the scenes at any time and cause a delay. Literally anything. But I guess it's easier to yell out, "He's ducking! He's ducking!" right?

And no, Mexican fans are not the most loyal fans in the sport. I've noticed that a lot of Mexicans jump on bandwagons the first opportunity they get.. spout out nonsense.. and then when their fighter loses, they kick them to the curb.

They did this for Abner Mares, Chavez Jr. Jessie Vargas, and even Marquez up until he redeemed himself with the Pacquiao KO. It even happened after Canelo lost to Mayweather but Canelo and his people built his popularity back up pretty well so far. I'm Mexican, I know this.
Well this is dumb, considering its Team Canelo saying 155 or no fight.

Why does the lineal mw champ need to negotiate a weight against another mw?

Anyways back on topic, no i do not lose respect for Nelo if he doesnt fight GGG at all. Gennady himself should be looking for an actual new challenge because at this point its pretty damn clear that his punching power is way too much for 154ers and 160ers. I wanna see if if he can do the same one division above but it seems like im the only one asking for GGG to embrace a new challange, everyone else wants him to fight Canelo or even worst a 147er in Floyd Mayweather, wich makes no sense at all.

Canelo has had a great carreer so far and he still has many more years left in this sht. U digg. I can't blame Team Canelo for doing the Khan fight, he is coming off a great W over Cotto and has been in there with great skilled fighters like Lara Floyd and Trout, theres nothing wrong with an "easy" fight every now and then, sht, even Golovkin does it...son.
Too bad for you, puncing power doesn't factor into boxing classes. You must be one of those new wave chavalas that pluck your eyebrows if you can sit here and defend Canelos bs.

Because he can. Why did floyd ask for a catchweight when he fought canelo for the 154 title. Why did pac fight for the welter title at 145, then 150 against Margarito for the 154 title
