thanks. Crazy how bias people can be on here. I'm surprised they tried to cluster me with the legitimate Roman haters of the forum, especially after I was one of the only posters excited and thrilled over the Gonzalez vs Hernandez rumors. I'm just glad Roman is fighting a significant threat in Arroyo, about damn time too.

I might be an extreme Estrada fanboy, but I try to remain objective in most situations. I might fail in many of my attempts but I am man enough to recognize my incorrect predictions and or mistaken comments. Till then, I stand my ground.

Translation: The big fights that the Mexican Juan Francisco "Gallo" Estrada has been looking for might be ready this 2016, and that's because his promoter Fernando Beltran has revealed his plan to first put together a fight against the Filipino Donnie Nietes and then go after the Nicaraguan, Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez, whom they accused of giving the run around to the idol from Sonora.

"We will be looking to make both fights, against Donnie Nietes and then Roman Gonzalez", said the president of Zanfer. "Roman, in all his declarations, for good or bad, has given us the run around. He tells us about HBO having the last word, the high amounts of money he's asking for... All we are asking for is for him to get in the ring. That's the only thing we ask for, to see him in front of us in a ring, we don't ask for the money or nothing else", said Tijuanense promoter.

He also said that Estrada has been in the better fights since his confrontation with Roman Gonzalez in 2012, whom he also doubted being the PFP number one fighter in the world. "Estrada has demonstrated and fought against better quality opponents than Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez since they fought. We must also keep in mind that Estrada's only fight at Jr Flyweight was against Chocolatito, never again has he given 108 lbs, that's a great advantage Roman had", he assured.

Finally, the man in charge of Zanfer said that there are many platforms in which this fight could take place, especially since it's a rematch that the public has been asking to see. "The people want to see the fight, the people are avidly waiting for it and we are compromised with the public, we are ready for Gonzalez and the day he is ready himself."

                Blandon Replies

After being consulted over the recent declarations of Fernando Beltran, Oscar Blandon, manager of Chocolatito Gonzalez had this to say, "I find it weird that Beltran has made those declarations, just recently we had conversations in which he justified that his fighter(Gallo) wasn't ready for this fight. He said Estrada had problems with a wrist."

"He(Beltran) knows we are willing to fight, we know both fighters deserve a good purse, but on our behalf it is no longer an economic matter. We know we will get paid what we want, if anything I think it's "Gallo's" team whom doesn't have faith in him", said Blandon.

Finally, he said that there are great possibilities for Roman to rematch Estrada this year, as well as go after his fourth crown. "Both goals are on foot, both the "Gallo" rematch and going after a fourth belt", said the manager confidently.

so Blandon's dumb ass recognized the fact that he knew about Estrada's hand injury in one sentence, he then claims Estrada's team is the one whom aren't confident enough in their fighter the next. Then he rounds up his B.S. By claiming the fight is on foot for later this year and he's confident in getting it made. He also boasts about money no longer being an issue .

Blandon is simply calling BS on team Zanfer and co and is clearing up any talk of Gonzalez pricing himself out - He thinks Zanfer made and excuse with an injury that has 'always' been present but now that the conflict on fighters purses has been resolved a new/old issue 'Injury' is an obstacle. Simple.

You are being rather daft. Blandon says one thing one moment then turns around and claims another. In the initial post yesterday he never mentioned any type of injury reports on behalf of Estrada's team... Now all of a sudden he brushes it off as if it was a minor detail he left out.

How has it been resolved and why are you so confident it has? Simply because Blandon said so? this is coming from the same side that had their fighter tell the press a fight with Segura was set for March 5th, then turned around and said there was a miscommunication.

Truth of the matter is there exists paper work regarding Eatrada's injury. He pulled out of a tune up last month and has yet to be rescheduled, at the same time Roman's team claim they got turned down... No ***** lol. Can you not see the illusion Blandon attempted to manufacture? It's all right in front of you, on record and you can't seem to gather it and piece it together. It's really not that hard to see what a sloppy job Blandon did at attempting to orchestrate a "duck" accusation towards Estrada. His attempt is so poor, it's damn near comical.

Yeah the line of questioning is different from one journalist to the next - in other words they all dont ask the same question OR word for word ; what do we know? All I know is that ''Gallito'' has been rather quiet lately - looking around his social media and trying to find anything from him on his timeline ....nothing.
