Given the fact that Estrada recently underwent surgery, I think it's safe to assume that he's unable to assess with certainty at this moment, whether he'll be ready by that date. But we have yet to even hear Estrada's side. It's interesting that Gonzalez's team was more than happy to allow the fight to "marinade" for years, yet as soon as Estrada is forced to undergo surgery, they make an offer then act surprised when he's not ready.

So which one is it? Why didn't they mention Estrada before or after the Segura fight fell through? Why wasn't Estrada on the list of opponents when Hernandez and Arroyo were being "eyed"? Why is it now that Roman is locked down to return in April against Arroyo that this news is spread to the press? Seriously . I read he wanted to face Nietes in summer as well, which is quite far from now. Then again, Nietes seems stuck between a rock and a hard place since the WBO wants him to rematch Fuentes yet again.

What exactly would I wait for? All that needs to be said has been said. Estrada had an injury and pulled out and will attempt to reschedule a scrap with a lesser fighter in a tune up fight.
