I will applaud you for at least trying to respond instead of deflecting (even though you still did when you used the word speculate). That said, I cannot agree with you here.
While Diarrhea is a known reason for dehydration it should be ruled out in this case.
why?
1) What is dehydration? You are losing fluids and that is the case with diarrhea. The big problem with this is that Floyd's weight was stable for 30 days!
2) Just as important, Floyd already told us why he was dehydrated and it certainly was not due to diarrhea.
- "Giving blood contributed to my dehydration." This is BS since he didn;t give blood for 10 days out.
- "Giving urine contributed to my dehydration." This is a lie.
- "Training contributed to my dehydration." We are talking about weigh in day. No long enduring strenuous training going on by now. Floyd would be tapering off.
3) Pre-fight form: There is a question where they ask about any problems that Floyd may have. All he said was that he had allergies.
4) Floyd didn't seem to have to run to the washroom during that whole event (weigh in).
After my previous discussion we had I went for a workout. I weighed myself before and after. It was a very average workout but I still lost 3lbs. I was thirsty and my urine was darker but guess what? I was not close to requiring an IV. I have had much much longer and harder workouts and have even raced before. Lost a lot more weight than today's workout. Never used an IV.
So I know a thing or two about hydration. I'm sure that most would understand at least the basics. Floyd's weight was stable. No need for an IV.
Sorry, try again.
EDIT: You were not supposed to come up with new reasons for his hydration since FLoyd already told us why (all lies). You were supposed to come up with a reasonable explanation for Floyd's excuses. the science behind how one can be severely dehydrated yet, as his critics have pointed out, the evidence does not support it.
