I don't understand how some people are saying GGG should have fought Lara? Lara is not ranked in the IBF as a middleweight, GGG would been stripped of his IBF title if he did not face Wade. Tureano was supposed to be the mandatory but obviously he has surgery coming up. Dominc Wade-GGG is not an appealing fight at all and I guess Wade got the number 1 ranking due to him beating Sam Soliman. IMO Sergiy Derevyanchenko/GGG should have been made instead of this fight.

Wade is a former top US amateur and unbeaten as a pro. K2 should have no problem marketing this fight to the US audience.

It should do well at the gate and in the ratings. Not a bad way for Golovkin to keep in tune and take care of his mando obligation.

Hats off to Wade for having the guts to step up and accept a fight like this so early in his career.

It's about money not titles in boxing. Canelo could care less about GGG same with Khan. Pay the money get the fights. screw titles and worthless belts and sanctioning fees to powerless organizations. Not sure what isn't true on the comment? Money matters and titles do not in boxing today. Bradley just gave up his title. Quillin gave his title up. Learn how the boxing business operates son before speaking or just sit in silence.
