There's at least 75 guys on Chavez's record that Khan could beat.

duh... Chavez's prime of his career was fought largely at 140. You add all of the stay-busy fights that he took in between and that was a silly point to make.

I thought same thing. But I've grilled the WBC about the mandatory and CW a few times, and they act like they don't understand.

Chavez says the Truth, then suddenly these dudes act like he isn't a great boxer

Anyone who disrespect Chavez Sr and his opinion are probably casuals who actually believe any top 20 boxer in any division is actuall a bum/cab driver. These guys don't get the nuanced difference between prospects, gatekeepers, contenders, champions, named, and elite talent. It's these guys who lack historical context when they call fighters bums who are litterally the top 10 fighter in the world in that weight class. IN THE WORLD! Thousands of boxers and they're top ten, but they're bum. Asinine comments from some people.

Anyways, Let's see, what did Chavez accomplish:

            6 world titles, three divisions

Beat world champion Ramirez, Limon, Lockridge, Taylor, Roger Mayweather, Smith, Fuentes, Camacho, Laporte, Rosario, Haugen, Lopez, Parisi, Gamache, and Randall.

Also drew with both Whitaker and González.

27 defenses of world titles, most successful defenses.

Most victories in title fights with 31.

Second most won by KO with 21, Louis has 23.

              Zero room to talk?

It was a ****ty move, but his son is a grown man and his actions don't invalidate Chavez's opinion. Canelo picked an easy money fight, simple as that. He doesn't want to fight the real #1 MW, so he's having a Welterweight move up to 155.

                Chavez hates Alvarez it seems.
Sounds like he wants to see Canelo destroyed.

Triple G vs Canelo is THE middleweight fight that should be happening but Oscar will keep Golovkin away at all costs as long as GGG continues to beat down his competition like he's been doing.

It's amazing how many Floyd fans rush to Canelo's defense to defend what they want to consider one of their hero's best victories.

And by amazing I mean pathetic.

Well they won't answer to the likes of us mere minions ......but coming from the official mandatory challenger legal team stating what are the the rules of facing your mandatory....the WBC will understand it make no mistakes about that...why do you think every champion either gets stripped or they vacate the title over a mandatory...because they have no choice but to face them...even Bradley has just vacated... A mandatory was set in place so the divisons best challenger will get his shot at the title and he couldn't be sidestepped....all I know is canelo is pretty much scraping the barrell for challengers if he has to drag a chinny welterweight up to face him....there's nobody besides triple GGG out there for him.....he will get stripped if he don't face golovkin in September guaranteed
