Nice progression fight for Joshua. Martin is a fringe contender. If he wins impressively, it will be time to start viewing him as a legitimate contender in the division. Then, a fight with the comebacking Haye becomes a lil more interesting.

This of course really would be a dangerous fight for Josh, Martin is huge and punches hard and seems to be improving all the time. It's easy to say sit on AJ for a while has he's not quite ready but although Martin has had slightly more fights there is no real quality on his record .....It's a fight I would buy a ticket to see a 50/50 really.Comment

The Dillian whyte fight was £17 on uk pay per view . Roughly $25
Hearn always try's to stack the under card to take the sting out
I don't mind paying for decent fights hopefully they move Joshua in position for the big boys in the devision .
Winning martins belt would be a good startComment

i think he sees dollars in his pockets. i mean he probably knows he's not very good deep down. i don't think we have a broner situation here. martin simply doesn't know how to throw punches and for a boxer that's an important thing. aj is probably the biggest money fight for him besides wlad-fury who are busy so why not cash in/out? he would prob lose to breazele for a couple 100k. do the right thing and take the money! you won't improve yourself to a world class boxer in 3-4 months time.Comment

Y'know I am probably one of the few that thinks this fight is a bit closer than many are giving credit, but then that comes down to how much I think Joshua is over hyped. the dude is a walking KO waiting to happen, he really is very very poor. BUT on the other hand he does have power so I could easily see him hitting Martin with one big shot and that's all she wrote.
As others have mentioned the problem for Hearn at that point is should Joshua win then he will have a target on his back and will be forced into fighting some dudes that DO have ability, at which point the 'AJ is gonna take over boxing' hype machine will come to a screeching halt.Comment
